چکیده

Ac signals are accurately measured by using Thermal Converters (TCs). In this paper, ac voltages are automatically calibrated as an example by the Thermal Voltage Converter (TVC) with changing the sequence of the applied signals. 1 V, 10 V, and 100 V at different frequencies from 50 Hz to 100 kHz are measured. The three different sequences are sequence #1 which is (+dc, ac, -dc), sequence #2 which is (ac, +dc, -dc, ac), and sequence #3 which is (ac, +dc, ac, -dc, ac). The effect of changing the applied sequence is studied to have the more precise and accurate performance. In order to achieve switching between ac and dc at regular and precise intervals and the comparison is made sequentially, a LabVIEW program is especially built for this study. The uncertainty budgets for the different ac voltages are also evaluated. Copyright © 2013 IFSA.

Improving the Tracking Error Signal Extraction in IR Seeker with Stationary Wagon Wheel Reticle over all Field of View

The accuracy of target position detection in IR seeker depends on the accuracy of tracking error signal (TES) extraction from seeker Field of View (FOV). The type of reticle inside the seeker determines the output modulation signal that carries the TES. In this paper, the stationary wagon wheel reticle is used, which makes the type of the output signal as FM modulation in the linear region of F...

Simultaneous Spectrophotometric Determination of Heavy Metal Ions Using Several Chemometrics Methods: Effect of Different Parameters of Savitzky-Golay and Direct Orthogonal Signal Correction Filters

Direct orthogonal signal correction(DOSC) and Savitzky-Golay filters (SGF) were applied as preprocessing methods on the original and first derivative absorbance data. Principle component regression (PCR), partial least squares (PLS) and iterative target transformation factor analysis (ITTFA), were used in spectrophotometric simultaneous determination of heavy divalent metal ions, l...

Effect of Echo Time on the Maximum Relationship between Contrast Agent Concentration and Signal Intensity Using FLAIR Sequence

Introduction Contrast-enhanced fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) is one of the MRI sequences that can be used for detection and evaluation of pathological changes in the brain. In this work, we have studied the effect of different echo times (TE) on the maximum relationship between signal intensity and concentration of the contrast agent using the FLAIR sequence. The effect of inversion times on the minimum signal intensity of the contrast agent concentration using inversion recovery t1-weighted fast imaging sequence

Background :Inversion recovery (IR) pulse sequences can generate T1-weighted images with a different range of inversion time (TI) to suppress or null the signal intensity (SI) for a specified tissue. In this study, we aimed to investigate the effect of TI values on the concentration of the contrast agent, which leads to a minimum signal intensity, using an inversion recovery T1-weighted 3-dim...
